WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is back on TV after a long hiatus, and fans are excited for epic matches and intense feuds. The event will take place at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on December 14.
The main event features Kevin Owens vs. Cody Rhodes, a match fans have been waiting for. In addition, there will be four more thrilling matches officially announced. Despite not being a PLE, this event is brimming with intense action and drama.

WWE Saturday Night 2024 will feature some title matches, but as of now, none of them will feature Bloodline members. Superstars like Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, Damian Priest, Liv Morgan, and Bayley will be in action.

Undisputed WWE Championship – Cody Rhodes (c) vs Kevin Owens
This main event match stems from a heated rivalry that began with WWE Bad Blood. Owens attacked Rhodes in the parking lot, feeling betrayed by Rhodes teaming up with Roman Reigns. In the progression of the storyline, Owens also hurt Randy Orton with a banned piledriver. Now, they’re facing off to settle their issues.
World Heavyweight Championship — Gunther (c) vs. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest
Before the Survivor Series, Damian Priest and Gunther were in a strong feud that led to their championship match. Gunther won the match, but Finn Balor’s interference further heightened their rivalry from the night of Survivor Series.
Now, in this weekend’s Main Event, Balor has been causing trouble for Gunther, and Priest is looking for revenge after being attacked by The Judgment Day.
Women’s World Championship – Liv Morgan (c) vs. IYO SKY
Iyo Sky was part of the winning team in the Women’s WarGames match, but she earned her title shot before that by winning a battle royal. She has been on a winning streak ever since. It will be exciting to see how the rising star Sky performs against the strong Liv Morgan.
Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre made a surprise return after Survivor Series and knocked out Sami Zayn with a Brogue Kick. He has had a long-standing issue with The Bloodline and is now back to get revenge after his feud with CM Punk. His fight with Sami Zayn in the main event is just the start of renewing his old rivalry with the faction.
Women’s United States Championship
SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis announced the first Women’s United States Championship match. Since this is a new championship belt, the crowd is excited about it.
