Now, the latest hints suggest WWE is planning something epic for The Rock’s return. Ripple Junction created his new Santa Hat holiday sweater, which retailed for $44.99 and has almost sold out. WWE Shop is selling another Rock holiday sweater for $74.99, but it won’t ship until January 8.
With just one week before the debut on Netflix, this new merch has fans thinking WWE is getting ready for The Rock’s big comeback.
How The Rock supported ex-WWE star against Triple H
In a YouTube video, former WWE star Maven shared how The Rock supported him after a tough match in 2003. Maven, who won WWE’s first-ever Tough Enough in 2001, had a one-sided loss to Triple H on Monday Night Raw.
Maven said The Rock pulled him aside and told him he wasn’t happy with how the match was planned. “I wasn’t in a position to where I could say anything. I was just happy to be on the damn show,” he admits, ‘but the fact that Rock took the time to tell me, ‘Hey, man, I don’t like what he did.’”
