2022 NBA Draft: Drew Timme, Marcus Sasser announces withdrawal from NBA Draft

Drew Timme of  decided to withdraw from the 2022 NBA Draft and will return Gonzaga, The big man Time confirmed by Tweeted on social media. The 6 foot 9 star forward was the leading scorer of Bulldogs in last season, averaging 18.4 points to go along with 6.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

Timme tweeted today saying:

Timme has spent three seasons in Spokane, Wash, and led Gonzaga to the 2022 NCAA Tournament where the team beaten by Arkansas in the Western Region Semifinal. Timme was the West Coast Conference Player of the Year for 2021-22 and a two time All American for the Bulldogs. The tall guy recorded his best stats, averaging 19.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists. 

Marcus Sasser Houston’s guard also announced the withdrawal from the 2022 NBA Draft and declared that he is returning to Cougars for his senior season. Sasser tweeted today saying that he has unfinished business with Houston:

Sasser is on 70 on ESPN’s board and was considered a fringe second round pick.
