49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk thinks Eagles got “Extremely lucky” to compete in Super Bowl LVII expecting Kansas City Chiefs to win it

The Super Bowl LVII is just a week around the corner. Following the main event of the NFL, many people, including athletes, have provided their thoughts and opinions whether what might happen in the game.

While people are giving their opinion on who might get the bowl, a player from the 49ers camp cannot get over the loss in the NFC Championship out of his head and still perceives the Eagles to be lucky getting the win over the San Francisco team.

The player is none other than wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Bradon discusses the Eagles and their participation in Super Bowl LVII during an appearance on TheSFNiners Podcast.

What does Brandon Aiyuk say about the Eagles and Super Bowl LVII?

The podcast is nearly two hours long, and Aiyuk discusses many things during this time. However, the topic that caught most fans’ attention was when Brandon spoke about the NFC Championship game and how the 49ers could have easily won. He claims that the Eagles were “extremely lucky” to win the game and make it to the Super Bowl.

Aiyuk’s frustration can be felt on another level when he says he is willing to get all his belongings converted into cash and bet on the Kansas City Chiefs. Moreover, the wide receiver doubts the Eagles’ defense and states,

“I got the Chiefs. I think the Chiefs… I just think they have their hands full. They got their hands full. I don’t know fully about [Philly’s] defense. They talk about them being a good defense. I’m not sure.”

He added, “I think the pass game, this Kansas City pass game, will expose what we thought we would be able to expose before some unfortunate circumstances happened. So we’ll see. But like I said, you got to get lucky win the Super Bowl, and they got extremely lucky last week. So who’s to say they can’t do it twice?”

Do you agree with Brandon Aiyuk? Was the Eagles’ luck? Or did the 49ers finally meet their match and lose the game?

The 49ers struggled with their quarterback game in the NFC Championship game, with an injured- a torn UCL Purdy patrolling in the field, unable to make clear passes, yet the Eagles put on a great contest to win the game.

With that being said, will they be able to do it again in the Super Bowl? Time will tell. Find out next Sunday!
