The NFL Pro Bowl prize money is an unbelievable thing for the fans, who never knew the exact amount from an authentic source.
Players from the National Football League’s finest teams will participate in talent competitions on Thursday, before hitting the field for the 2023 Pro Bowl in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Participants in the competitions, which will include the first-ever non-contact flag football games, will be vying for a lot more than just accolades.
Even though they didn’t win the Super Bowl, they still earned a lot of money. As per the NFL’s CBA, players on both sides of the AFC and NFC Pro Bowl would split $88,000 if they win (more than if they played in last year’s Super Bowl) and $44,000 if they lose.
This is an increase over the previous season’s totals of $84,000 and $42,000, correspondingly.

An injured player in the Pro Bowl can be eligible for an extra payment. Concussions such as a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), loss of vision in one eye, cancer that “tends to manifest” during Pro Bowl Week and is detected within a month (except skin cancer), and heart attacks caused by “physical exertion while going to participate in shrouded events during Pro Bowl Week” are all eligible for the $1 million payout stipulated in the CBA.
A player is eligible for a $500,000 payout if they suffer a career-ending injury such as a torn ligament in an arm or leg, a broken foot that needs surgery, or any other injury that requires medical attention.
Anyone who has an injury during Pro Bowl Week but is unable to play will still be paid out regardless of whether or not their team wins the game.
If a player has a Pro Bowl incentive provision in their contract “signed before the effective date of the CBA,” they may be eligible for extra money from the NFL. As per the terms of the deal, Pro Bowlers will be paid their bonuses within 15 days.
By 2030, the CBA calls for the winning team in the Pro Bowl to earn $116,000 and the losing team to get $58,000.
Dodgeball, a relay sprint, and a game called “kick tac toe” were just a few of the activities during this year’s Pro Bowl.
