Watch: Cowboys vs 49ers fan fight footage features two men assaulting a woman

The rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers is no secret, and fans of both teams are known to be particularly passionate about their team‘s success. This past Sunday, unfortunate events at a restaurant in an unknown city showed just how heated these emotions can get.

The altercation began with an argument between fans of both teams that quickly escalated when a woman attacked one of the men.

In response, the man punched her in the face which then caused several men to run in and jump him. The same woman then approached and attacked another man before the same group of guys attacked him as well. The incident is a stark reminder of the potential consequences of fan rivalries getting out of hand.

The incident happened just before the game between the Cowboys and the 49ers commenced, but the events on the field were far more positive. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was the star of the show, finishing with 214 yards on 19-for-29 passing and no touchdowns or turnovers.

His performance earned him his second playoff win and a 7-0 record since becoming the starter, a remarkable feat for the rookie quarterback who was selected last in the NFL Draft.

The game itself ended with the 49ers emerging victorious, thanks in part to the stellar performance of rookie quarterback Brock Purdy. Purdy completed 19 of his 29 passes for a total of 214 yards and no touchdowns, but more importantly, no turnovers.

This was the second playoff win of Purdys career, was chosen last in the NFL Draft, and currently has a perfect record of seven wins in seven starts.

The Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had a good game too, but it was not enough to beat the 49ers. He ended the game with 206 yards and one touchdown on 23of37 passes but also threw two interceptions.

Even so, Prescott had a hot hand coming into the game, having thrown for over 300 yards and four touchdowns in the Wild Card round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
