Adam Silver boldly predicts Stephen Curry’s All-Star presence in 2025 amid commanding season start

Stephen Curry is the one of the greatest three-point shooters to have graced the NBA courts. He is an on court offensive monster and can shoot and score from almost anywhere, be it from the logo or from within the three-point line.

Steph is a four-time NBA champion, a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), an NBA Finals MVP, an NBA All-Star Game MVP, a nine-time NBA All-Star, and a nine-time All-NBA selection, including four times on the first team. Although Steph is 35 years old, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver believes that Steph is still in his prime.

Adam Silver confident in Curry’s All-Star status in 2025

The NBA season 2023-2024 has just started and the voting for the All-Star team is still months away. Yet still, Adam Silver made a bold claim about Stephen Curry saying that Curry will be an All Star even in 2025.

Speaking to NBC Sports, Adam credited the Warriors’ two-time MVP for his longevity. “I hate to put too much pressure on him,” Silver said. “He’s not going anywhere for many years. So he’s still in his prime. It’s amazing what Steph continues to do, to your point, you know, 16 years or so…that will be next year into the league. He takes such good care of his body. But you and I have no doubt he’s going to be out on the floor as an All-Star.”

Curry had participated in the Three-Point Competition during All-Star Weekend seven times, winning it twice (in 2015 and 2019). He also won MVP of the All-Star game in 2022. In addition, he took part in and won the 2011 Rising Stars Challenge, the 2014 and 2015 Shooting Stars Competition, and the 2010 and 2011 Skills Challenge.

Even at the age of 35, Curry still plays at an elite level. His shooting has always been great and will continue to be, as long as he keeps playing.

Steph was practicing his layups and drives and ended up making an incredible shot. He threw the ball high in the air, almost touching the arena’s roof and made a basket. The ball didn’t even touch the hoop and went straight through. Immediately after the shot Curry celebrated with his teammates on the court cheering the team to start the game with maximum motivation.
