The transfer window is at its peak, with top clubs completing expensive signings to bolster their squad for the upcoming season. Ousmane Dembele is one of the latest big-money signings bound to move away from his current club, FC Barcelona. After agreeing to a deal for his sale, Barcelona have turned their eyes toward priority full-back target Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.
Ousmane Dembele is about to move to PSG after the French club shockingly turned his mind around and agreed to a $54.6 million deal for the mercurial winger. On similar grounds, Xavi intends to sign an out-and-out right back after playing Jules Kounde out of his preferred position in the last year. He has identified Cancelo as the perfect addition to his squad after openly admitting to being after his services.

The speculation surrounding the 2 players has been very high, especially in the last week. Xavi is a very big fan of Cancelo, with the Catalan club wishing to get his signature for a loan deal in January. At that point, Manchester City FC blocked his move and sent him to Bayern Munich on loan.
The rumors suggest that Joao Cancelo has agreed personal terms for a switch to Spain. The player is eager to move to the Spanish giants, and now his move completely depends on an agreement between the clubs. The fee is one of the major things that has to be decided, as the player is highly rated and was bought on an expensive transfer fee himself. After receiving the cash for Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona can probably agree on the fee for Cancelo.
