Argentina Win The World Cup 2022 as Lionel Messi completes football

Argentina have won the FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 as they beat France on penalties (4-2) after initial scoreline of dramatic 3-3. Lionel Messi shines once again. Mbappe Scores a hat-trick on the final.

How Things Unfolded:

It was an electrifing atmosphere since the first whistle was blown. Argentina seems picked up the pace immidiately after waves of attack.

It was on the 23rd minutes when Di Maria was caught by Dembele in the box, left referee Marciniak no choice but to point to the spot.

Messi converted the penalty sending Lloris the wrong way and lifting Argentina high in spirit.

They didn’t stop here and later broke a quick counter-attack and scored a well combined team goal, incarnation of Di Maria.

France looked staggering to cope up the early shock Argentina has given. Manager Didier Deschamp was quick to react though as he twisted his tactics by bringing Thuram and Kolo Muani.

At one stage it was felt like the game was one paced as France didn’t have a touch in Argentina Box before 70th minutes.

The introduction of Coman changed the whole situation. France got back themselves in the game as two quick successive goal from Mbappe levelled the scoreline, left Argentina turned pale.

There were so many notable opportunities before the game went on to extra time.

During the extra time, Argentina took the lead once more, of course Lionel Messi once more. Argentina’s Guardian Angel he is.

If you think you had enough drama to witness on a final day then God had other surprises.

Mbappe fired a shot only to be hit by a Montiel arm and resulted in a penalty. Mbappe scored and made the game reignited once more at the 117th minutes.

France had a golden chance to seal the game very late but Emi Martinez rescued Argentina through a brilliant point blank save.

He was once again proved to be the X-factor at the penalty shootout. He denied Coman and Tchouameni and that was enough for Argentina to lift the trophy.

Lionel Messi is inevitable:

Lionel Messi, The GOAT of football pulled the strings once more for his nation. He was simply outstanding and sometimes unplayable.

He was the architect of Argentina’s success for a long period of time. He scored twice in a final resulted Argentina another World Cup win after 1986.

In reward of his brilliance throughout the campaign, Messi was named Player Of The Tournament. He was the happiest when to kiss the Winner’s trophy, his most desired achievement.

Mbappe Effort went in vain

Kylian Mbappe was a lone warrior for France. He became the second player in the history of the game after Geoff Hurst as a player who scored a hat-trick on the final day of the Fifa World Cup.

Mbappe wins the Golden Boot as he netted the ball 8 times in this ongoing World Cup.

He was razor sharp and literally was the only player to whom the Argentine supporters least wanted to have the ball. He tried and fought valiantly only to be the second best.

How much that means for Argentina?

Returning from the battle field as a winner is always heroic. After this win, the players and the whole Argentina as a nation will cherish the moment. They screamed, they Smiled, they cried the “Tears of joy’.

Lionel Messi and his teammates wake up in the morning as World Champions. They dared to dream. They dared to win!

The two Lionels ( Lionel Messi & Lionel Scaloni) are the most loved Argentines at the moment. What a player & manager combo it turned out!

When the Persian Fairy was written, Argentina might not be the headlines. But certainly they wrote their own.

From Buenos Aires to Rosario, people gathered in number, celebrating their win, drunk, yet feeling the featerbed.

They are the world champions. A big thumbs up to them.
