Arsenal vs Tottenham: North London Derby, Premier League’s one of the fiercest rivalries

The heart of the jealous knows the best and most satisfying love, that of the other’s bed, where the rival perfects the lover’s imperfections. The stage is set for the North London Derby at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on 15th January where Spurs will host the Gunners for the ultimate battle of the nearest duel.

Arsenal is currently top of the Premier League with five points lead over City and 11 points clear of the Spurs, but passion, glory, victory, and joy to the authority over locals are greater than this as it is England’s fiercest derby.

Mikel Arteta’s men are flying high in confidence after their recent marvelous performance whereas the Conte’s side is much more surprise pack; on their day, they are ruthless.

Harry Kane is in red hot form with 15 goals to his name already, needs just two more to equal his last year’s goal tally and following a brace against Crystal Palace, he would hope to deliver. Kulusevski is doubtful and  Richarlison is apparently injured will hinder Spurs’ process though.

The match will be an interesting one from the season’s point of view as Arsenal will try to hold the position they are in and distanced themselves away from Man City while Spurs will be looking forward to breaking the top four.

Former Tottenham legend Jamie Redknapp is already thrilled about the face-off.  He told on the Wednesday Night Football, “This is going to be a huge one because it can turn your season around. If Arsenal gets the win, they’ll believe they can go win the title, if Tottenham win everything feels good after a derby.”

Tottenham Hotspur stadium is the most modern stadium of them all across the UK and will be electrifying in what will be a season-defining ‘London Derby’. Bring the win, take the stake. Keep an eye on SportsZion.
