“As a young man, I failed big” WWE Superstar John Cena addresses his acting career’s shortcomings

Former WWE Champion John Cena, who is still engaged in wrestling as part of his extensive WWE career, discussed the shortcomings of his acting career.

There is an old adage that goes something like this: “If you want to be the best at what you do, you have to be the best at caring for your passion, giving your devotion, and sticking to the destination.” The same qualities need to be honed in order to switch gears and start fresh in a new field.

John Cena, who rose to popularity as one of the WWE’s most prolific wrestlers, gaining millions of fans worldwide, has thrived in his transition from wrestler to movie star, becoming one of Hollywood’s greatest names and most recognizable faces.

Former WWE wrestlers making the transition to acting is not unheard of, as audiences are graced with the performances of former wrestlers such as Dave Bautista, who played in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.’

The most famous actor in the world is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who featured in Disney’s “Jungle Cruise.”

There has to be a reason why so many WWE stars have achieved such success in film after their great wrestling careers. John Cena is one of the most charismatic actors and individuals working today. The intangible “it factor” that The Champ embraced and embodied in the WWE ring enabled him to provide fantastic, enjoyable performances over the years.

“The Cenation Leader” discussed his early years as a performer during an interview, last year, citing some films as less successful attempts. He even admits to being judgmental and chastising individuals for not being as productive as WWE.

Reminiscing the past he said, “I used to chastise people for not working as efficiently as the WWE. And as a young man, I failed big. I was judgmental, and I was apprehensive. And I wanted to be back in the ring because I loved that immediate gratification.”

Even having a difficult start, John Cena found his way in Hollywood and overcame his fears, featured in significant films, including the most recent Fast & Furious chapter, F9.

‘The Hustle Loyalty & Respect Soldier” recently appeared as ‘Peacemaker’ in DC’s Suicide Squad and now has his own HBO Max series based on the character.

Fans are happy that John Cena has overcome his early difficulties and is now a successful Hollywood actor.
