Former Boxing Champion’s 27-Year-Old Son to Debut Before WWE NXT This Tuesday

WWE NXT is getting a new star this Tuesday. Elijah Holyfield, the 27-year-old son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield, makes his in-ring debut. Elijah, who used to play in the NFL and college football at the University of Georgia, joined WWE earlier this year to start his pro wrestling journey.

His father, Evander Holyfield, known for his controversial boxing career, is most remembered for his 1997 match against Mike Tyson, which is still talked about today. A four-time heavyweight champion, he achieved more wins than even MuhamElijah Holyfield, being his son, is held to high expectations, and the community is quite impressed.

Elijah’s debut happened during a taping for WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats) on A&E just before the WWE NXT taping. The show highlights rising talent mentored by WWE Legends while competing for a WWE contract. Elijah has been training hard, ready to leave his mark in professional wrestling.

Fans at the show were impressed by Holyfield’s potential. While his in-ring skills are yet to be tested, he already has the look of a future champion.

Former WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team champ returns in style

The WWE Universe got a big surprise on WWE NXT when Shotzi returned from her ACL injury. She had been out since February but came back to help Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley against Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx).

Before the match, Paxley teased having a secret ally, but no one expected it to be Shotzi until her music played. The match ended in chaos, and Fatal Influence kept attacking.

Then, Shotzi ran in to help, getting loud cheers from the crowd as she stood strong with Dolin and Paxley.
