Despite his relatively small stature at 5’8″ and 179 pounds, the RB caught the attention of many during the combine with his impressive 40-yard dash time of 4.37 seconds and a broad jump of 10 feet and 6 inches.
Last season, Mitchell played in 12 games and rushed for 1,452 yards and 14 touchdowns, along with 27 receptions for 252 receiving yards and another score.
In 2021, he totaled 1,385 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns in 12 games. In 2020, he recorded 518 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns in nine games. The running back is currently projected to be selected in the sixth round of the upcoming draft.
Will RB Keaton Mitchell join the Broncos?
The Broncos hold the No. 195 pick in the sixth round and could potentially add Mitchell to their backfield rotation alongside Javonte Williams and Samaje Perine. The 2023 NFL draft will take place in Kansas City from April 27-29.
