Christmas day star: Jayson Tatum’s stupendous performance rose Boston Celtics to win after losing five of seven games

Boston Celtics and their small forward Jayson Tatum got their Christmas present on court against Milwaukee Bucks, grabbing their much needed victory last night. Thanks to Tatum’s outstanding performance, the Celtics were able to get back on track after three consecutive losses.

The Celtics were on the top of the table just a winning difference from second positioned Bucks before the game. The fans were eagerly waiting for this fixture for last couple of weeks. Eventually, both team delivered one of their best performances to them on Christmas.

How good was Jayson Tatum?

The 24 year old was in the shadow of another superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, power forward of bucks. It was supposed to be his night, though, the Celtics defense successfully hold him off. Giannis only managed 27 points.

On the other hand our own star Jayson scored highest 41 point with 5 assist and 7 rebound. He slammed the opponent with 20 points in the third quarter, which proved decisive in the game. The three time NBA all-star sanked three times from beyond the arc alongside Al Horford and Grant Williams.

The Celtics were in a slump after losing five of their previous seven games. They scored their season highest 139 and make their existence known once again. They have a comparatively easy opponent in next game, Western’s table bottom Houston Rockets.
