CM Punk is 46 years old, but when he steps into the ring, he doesn’t look like he’s aging at all. Instead, he seems to get more serious about his rivalries every day. Last year at Bad Blood, everyone thought CM Punk gave his best against Drew McIntyre. But he pushed those limits even further in his recent feud with Seth Rollins.
Believe it or not, CM Punk has a different bond with Steel Cage matches. Every time he’s inside that cage, he gives the crowd something they’ve never seen before. The latest RAW showdown between CM Punk and Seth Rollins inside a steel cage is just more proof of that.
The rivalry between CM Punk and Seth Rollins has been going on for years, both in and out of the ring. Independent wrestler Wes Barkley recently said that their hatred isn’t just for show — it’s real. This made their steel cage match even more intense and exciting.
During the match, it was clear neither of them wanted to back down. It wasn’t just about winning — they wanted to destroy each other. After every hard-hitting move, both of them kept kicking out.
At one point, CM Punk had the chance to leave the cage easily to win the match. But instead, he opened the door and looked at Rollins with a wicked smile. His expression seemed to say, “Door’s open, buddy. You’re free to go!” Later, when Rollins got the upper hand, he did the same thing to Punk. It was like they were daring each other to give up — but neither of them would.
They even recreated a moment from the Elimination Chamber match, where Rollins stomped Punk and John Cena secured an effortless win. This time, Punk got his revenge by stomping Rollins — a move that’s not even his usual finisher.
That was a MASTERPIECE ✨

Seth and Punk put it all in the ring, with a MAGNIFICENT storytelling
Especially Seth, he did G R E A T ❤️❤️❤️ #SethRollins is truly a LEGEND 🙌🏻
But he had to win clean, to pin Punk, he was about to
But Fuck #RomanReigns 🖕🏻#WWERaw#RawOnNetflix pic.twitter.com/8FdyZvkD1C
What’s really surprising is that Punk is now 46 years old. Yet, he’s still pushing his limits like never before. We didn’t see this kind of fire from him back when he was younger, before 2014.
Inside the steel cage, he truly proved why he’s called “The Best in the World.” He even pushed “The Visionary” beyond his limits, and let’s be honest — have you ever seen Rollins act like that on Raw before? You could hardly remember.
And there is no denying that Roman’s presence later added more depth to the drama.
