“Come get the belt:” Rolly Romero calls out Ryan Garcia after winning WBA super lightweight belt defeating Ismael Barroso

Yesterday night, Rolly Romero defeated Ismael Barroso to earn his highly anticipated triumph. Romero has announced Ryan Garcia as his opponent for the next fight, as he had planned to do before the fight.

By defeating Ismael, Rolly won the vacant WBA super lightweight belt. The 28-year-old boxer is now eagerly anticipating his upcoming matchup with Ryan Garcia. According to Rolando, everyone’s waiting eagerly for his fight against KingRy.

Rolly Romero desires to face Ryan Garcia next

“Like I said, he’s at 140, and I’m at 140. You got to come get the belt, and that’s a fight that everybody has been asking for forever.” Rolly said.

Tank defeated Ryan in their highly-anticipated boxing battle. Although Ryan is still processing the loss, KingRy is probably going to take the offer as Rolly is now the new lightweight champion.

“All I know is that fight is the biggest fight in boxing, me and Ryan. The winner between me and Ryan gets Gervonta Davis. We’re going to do it the old school way.” Rolly added.

How did Rolly defeat Ismael Barroso?

Rolly fought Ismael Barroso to win the new WBA Super Lightweight title last night. The way Romero won created controversy in the boxing community, with many claiming that the referee stopped the fight too early.

Throughout the first eight rounds of the fight, the Venezuelan boxer relentlessly dominated Rolando. To the surprise of everyone, referee Tony Weeks stopped the bout in the ninth round, despite Ismael’s ability to continue.

Tony’s choice astounded everyone in the arena as it seemed like both boxers still had enough fuel in their tanks to continue the fight. Hence it came as a major shock when the official results showed that Rolly had won by technical knockout.
