What is next for Ryan Garcia following brilliant victory over Devin Haney?

Ryan Garcia just pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the boxing circuit by defeating Devin Haney. Garcia bounced backed in a dominant fashion after the brutal knock out loss to Gervonta Davis.

Leading up to the fight, Garcia was not in the best shape mentally. Garcia claimed to be dealing with mental health issues and anxiety. Despite all the odds KingRy knocked out Haney three times during their intense battle.

Following his victory over Haney, Garia talked on a potential Gervonta Davis rematch at 145. During post-fight press conference Garcia said, “Tank won’t fight me because I’m moving up. I’m going 147, I can’t f*cking make 140.”

Ryan looked like an absolute beat while competing at his natural weight class against Haney. Prior to the crucial bout, Garcia received words of appreciation from boxing legend Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson visited the locker rooms before the actual showdown to greet both the fighters.

With the dominant win over Haney, Ryan Garica got multiple fighters in line waiting to take him on. However, KingRy looks to enjoy the moment as of right now. Garcia was seen smoking in the locker room after getting the job done.

In his professional career, Ryan has now won 25 bouts, with his only loss coming at the hands of Davis. A potential rematch between them could still become a possibility, but Davis would need to match the conditions set by Garcia.

Connor Benn challenged Ryan Garcia

Ryan Garcia is in red-hot form right now and with a major win under his belt, it seems multiple boxers are keen to fight him. Connor Benn is one of the fighters to publicly call out KingRy.

“Don’t be another loud mouth like Gervumpalumpa if you are really about it let’s do it next and I will smash your teeth down your neck you wanker”, Benn recently wrote on X/twitter.

However, in typical Garcia fashion, KingRy clapped back with a brutal jibe at Benn. Ryan Garcia is open to a potential fight against Benn.

“You know I’m about the business but you can’t even fight in your own country.”

Besides being keen on fighting Benn, Garcia is ready to face off against Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. But Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis does not rate Garcia very highly.

It would be interesting to see who Ryan Garcia chooses as his next opponent. But as of right now, Garcia must enjoy this huge victory over Haney.
