Cristiano Ronaldo has been in remarkable form ever since signing for Saudi club Al-Nassr in January. Since then, he has set alight the Saudi Pro League with his magnificent performances and skills. The former Manchester United man can’t seem to stop scoring goals and keeps breaking records even at the ripe age of 38.

And now the Portuguese superstar has reached another historic milestone yesterday. It was when he scored a goal in the 5-1 thumping win against Al Hazm. Aside from goals and records, Ronaldo even got some new praise from a Saudi league official.

Cristiano Ronaldo reached yet another goalscoring record, in yesterday’s match with his goal in the 68th minute. It was his 850th career goal, which makes him the first player to reach that mark. The goal was his 26th overall for the Saudi club, and his 14th this season.

Recently, Ronaldo helped win the Arab Club Champions Cup, mounting a great comeback in the final to lift the trophy.

Ronaldo is however a man on a new mission. After missing out on last season’s league title to Al Ittihad, he is determined to win this season, and his performances have proved him right. Yesterday’s win was the club’s third in a row and it seems they are on the right track to get back on top of the table.

CR7’s contributions have been enormous in the wins, scoring six goals and providing four assists in just four games. This makes him the current top scorer and top assist provider in the league so far. He has been awarded the Player of the Month award for August due to his contributions.

Michael Emenalo applauds Ronaldo’s impact beyond football

While Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player on the pitch, he is also a great role model for kids all around the world. His healthy lifestyle along with his hard work and determination make him a source of inspiration for millions.

This earned him praise from Michael Emenalo, who is a director in the Saudi Pro League. According to TCR, he said, “Cristiano Ronaldo is not only a footballer but a role model for the youth of Saudi Arabia.” 

Michael is also a former Nigerian player, who also acted as technical director at Premier League club Chelsea between 2011 and 2017. He then joined the Saudi league, where he was responsible for the league’s growth through player acquisition. 

Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr will hope to keep up their recent form when they face Al Raed on Saturday.
