Cristiano Ronaldo fails to score again in his second match for Al Nassr losing 3-1 in Super Cup semi-final

Cristiano Ronaldo has failed to score again as Al Nassr, CR7’s new club, failed to pass their way past Al Ittihad and now will be out of the Arabian prestigious tournament.

Ronaldo made his debut for Al Nassr against Al Ettifaq and the Portuguese sensation was stopped from scoring by the Ettifaq defenders but the table toppers see the game through and won 1-0.

Arabian Super Cup is one of the most important tournaments as the top four teams of their respective season compete against each other to stamp further authority to their say.

Al Nassr drew against Al Ittihad and the two heavyweights met in the King Fahd International Stadium where CR7 shone against PSG, but failed to bring on the same impact last night around.

Ronaldo left in shock as the Ittihad side hit two first-half goals, thanks to Romarinho and Hamdala’s brilliant finish while moving the ball purposefully and they controlled the game exceptionally.

Rudi Garcia wanted some reaction from his players during the second half and much more urgency to their playing style brought one goal back for them after Anderson Talisca scored in the 67th minute.

Ronaldo was completely out of color during his outing and the legendary footballer looked frustrated while it will be his second blank in a row didn’t help Al Nassr’s cause at all.

Earlier, Al Feiha pulled off a shocker after beating the tournament favorite Al Hilal 1-0 and as things appeared, Al Nassr has the same fate as their rival, and now both the giant clubs are out of the tournament.

Cristiano Ronaldo was handed the captain’s armband by the manager Rudi Garcia upon his arrival at the new club and the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is yet to break the lock for Al Nassr.

However, the fans were electric during the whole game as they welcomed their hero and throughout the 90 minutes, Ronaldo received a reception that could be labeled as ‘Unmatchable’.

Arabian super cup semifinal exit will certainly add fuel to the fire and the Portuguese will look to bounce back to his top form and carry the legacy he set.
