Cristiano Ronaldo ‘really happy’ hitting landmark after scoring 500th career league goal in Al-Nassr’s win vs Al-Wehda

The man, the legend, the myth is what described Cristiano Ronaldo as the best as the Portuguese sensation netted his 500th league goal which symbolized the greatness he has throughout his career.

Al Nassr cemented their place at the top after beating Al Wehda by 4-0 and Cristiano Ronaldo shone on a beautiful limpid Arabian night after scoring all of them alone to help the team to the course of the title.

It was a visit to the King Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium where Al Wehda hosted the Al Nassr, and the talisman of the table toppers opened the scoring at 21 minutes through a beautifully crafted finish.

The greatest footballer who was seeking a new challenge in the Middle East didnā€™t stop there and went on to score his first hat-trick upon his arrival at the new club and CR7 finished the game with four goals.

“I’m really happy for the goals I scored today, but what made me happier is being able to help my teammates to win this game. It is a big win for the team”- Ronaldo spoke to the SSC Channel after the match.

Ronaldo shared his delight after the match and posted on Instagram which reads, ā€œGreat feeling to have scored 4 goals and reached my 500th league goal in a very solid win by the team!ā€

Prior to this game, Ronaldo struggled to cope with the new atmosphere and failed to live up to the expectation, and ended up being criticized only to shut them with a bang of a performance.

The victory of Al Nassr was an important one to the context of the table as Al Shabab is breathing down their neck. Ronaldoā€™s team still holds the top spot after equaling in points with a game in hand.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping to continue keeping up the scoring ratio as he tends to do and surely look to beat the record books whenever the opportunity arises.
