Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner Georgina tears up discussing loss of baby son in emotional new trailer of Netflix’s reality show

In an emotional interview for her Netflix reality show “I Am Georgina”, Rodriguez opened up about her loss and how it affected her and her partner Cristiano Ronaldo. She said that it was the “best and worst moment” of her life, as she felt both joy and sorrow at the same time.

Georgina Rodriguez is a social media influencer and model from Argentina who is best known as the partner of Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most famous footballers in the world. In October 2021, they announced that they were expecting twins, a boy, and a girl, who would join their blended family of four children. The couple was overjoyed with the news and shared their excitement with their millions of fans on Instagram.
Ronaldo has three children through different surrogate mothers: Cristiano Jr, 12, Eva, and Matteo, 5. Eva and Matteo are twins. And then Georgina gave birth to a baby daughter Alana Martina on November 12, 2017.

What went wrong with Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez?
However, tragedy struck when Georgina went into labor prematurely at six months. The twins were born via emergency C-section at a hospital in Manchester, where Cristiano played for Manchester United at the time. The baby girl survived, but the baby boy did not make it.
Rodriguez said that she was grateful for having their baby girl, who was healthy and beautiful, but also heartbroken for losing their son. The baby girl is named Bella Esmeralda. She was brought back home 3 days after her birth.
Georgina reveals that she struggled with depression and anxiety after losing Mateo. She says that she felt guilty for being alive while her son was gone. However, she also said that Ronaldo was her “rock” and supported her through this difficult time. She also thanked their fans for their messages of condolence and love. She said that she hoped that by sharing her story. The 2nd season of Rodriguez’s Netflix show comes out on the 24th of March.
