Dana White talks on late stoppage during Jalin Turner vs Bobby Green

Dana White expressed his opinion on UFC Austin’s co-main event referee, Kerry Hatley. The fight between Jalin Turner and Bobby Green lasted just 2 minutes and 49 seconds, ending in Green’s knockout defeat. But the real damage for fighting fans was when Hatley didn’t perform his job well and got criticism from the UFC President.

It was not the early stoppage but a very late stoppage that would have put Bobby’s life in Danger when Jalin Turner dropped Bobby on the mat. Green was on the ground and Turner took the opportunity and started blasting punches on the head portion of the 37-year-old fighter. Green was also coming from 33 seconds secured victory on the UFC Vegas 80 card.

Later in the press conference, the media asked the UFC president about the stoppage to which he responded, “one of the worst I’ve ever seen” and “Definitely a bad stoppage.” White looked unhappy with what happened as he added, “The difference is we’ve had some refs say some dumb sh*t in the past, like, ‘I allowed her to be a warrior tonight,’ and goofy sh*t like that. He knows he made a mistake tonight and does not feel not feel good about it, so it’s unfortunate,” via Sportskeeda.

Arman Tsarukyan pleased with the beating Bobby Green received

Bobby Green’s situation wasn’t impressive for many fighting fans. However, the main event winner, Arman Tsarukyan, seemed pleased with Green’s outcome in the octagon. Reflecting on how Bobby’s head bounced off the mat during Turner’s punches, Arman stated, “I was super, super happy when his head was bouncing on the canvas.”

The feud started between both when Arman’s team and Bobby’s team collided in the hotel. The clip of the brawl went viral and the chaotic scene was captured between both teammates.

Bobby Green at one point was about to receive the flying kick from Tsaurkyan’s opponent but the managed to dodge that. This is why it can be assumed that at least Arman had the hatred with Green.
