Among the new generation of wrestlers in WWE there are a few promising faces. Among these faces, is the son of Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio comes to the top of the list. His son, Dominik Mysterio aka The Dirty Dom has also been getting huge attention from the fans and the roster.

Dirty Dom has been part of many big matches in WWE. Being a member of The Judgement Day, he is currently NXT North American Champion. On top of that, he has won the SmackDown tag team championship once.  

Despite his accomplishments, Dom is hated by fans due to his antics and jokes. He seems to be vague about this, as he made the headlines doing so once again.

Dominik Mysterio jokes about Eddie Guerrero being his real father

In a new video uploaded by WWE, WWE star Dominik Mysterio answered some top questions from fans. Following Rhea Ripley’s aka The Eradicator’s sarcastic responses in a previous video, Dominik was all set for the challenge of answering various fan queries from several social media platforms.

Throughout the session, Dominik Mysterio spoke highly of Rhea Ripley and Judgment Day. He addressed that his favorite moment in WWE so far was joining the Judgment Day faction, and he also added that the members truly hang out with each other, including during a recent UK tour to London.

“We really are a family. We’re a melting pot, but we’re a family,” said Dominik.

When asked about reconciling with his dad, Dominik gave a heartwarming answer and felt touched by the memory of the late Eddie Guerrero. He also shared that he dreams about Eddie every night and that it sometimes keeps him up, but due to Eddie’s passing, he focuses on doing what he can do right now.

Dominik Mysterio: “I dream about that every night, sometimes it keeps me up and I can’t sleep. But, because he’s no longer with us, R.I.P Eddie.”

Dominik Mysterio’s feud with his dad Rey Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio has successfully performed as one of the most popular heels in the history of WWE. Fans of WWE Universe witnessed the close father-son duo, Rey and Dominik until Dom did betrayal at The Clash at the Castle. The fans were shocked at the incident. At WrestleMania 39, Rey emerged victorious in their father-and-son battle, yet Dominik Mysterio continues to take a dig at Rey and the rest of his family.

Despite the rivalry of both, it is known that Dominik’s heel turn is scripted by WWE for entertainment purposes. Rey has mentioned multiple times how proud he is of his son Dominik.
