F1 star Charles Leclerc chooses Michael Jordan as NBA’s GOAT over LeBron James

F1 star Charles Leclerc recently joined the ranks of Michael Jordan supporters, as he named Jordan the NBA’s GOAT over LeBron James.

Leclerc is a huge basketball fan and always tries to attend a match when he is in the United States. He was recently invited to an NBA event in Paris, where he enjoyed playing on the court with Tony Parker and Joakim Noah. Leclerc also attended a Chicago Bulls game against Detroit Pistons with fellow F1 drivers, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon.

In an ESPN video, Leclerc was asked to weigh in on the great basketball debate of our time: who is the better player between Michael Jordan and LeBron James? Leclerc was quick to choose Jordan as his GOAT, which is likely to resonate with many basketball fans worldwide. However, as LeBron James is currently in top form, it remains to be seen if Leclerc will change his opinion if James overtakes Kareem Abul-Jabbar in the all-time most-scoring list.

Leclerc had a promising start to the 2022 F1 season, but soon fell behind Max Verstappen, who dominated the grid with 15 wins. Unfortunately, Leclerc’s Ferrari suffered from poor reliability and questionable strategies, which meant that Verstappen wrapped up the championship by the end of the Japanese Grand Prix. However, Leclerc managed to hold onto his runner-up position by beating Sergio Perez by just one second in the final race in Abu Dhabi.

As Ferrari prepares to compete for the F1 title again with their Project 675, Leclerc will be looking to improve on his performance and take the championship away from Verstappen this year. Leclerc’s passion for basketball and F1 is evident, and it is clear that he is a formidable force on and off the track.
