Kirk Cousins recently decided to bring his family to the AL Wild Card playoff game between the Minnesota Twins and the Toronto Blue Jays.
His attendance at the MLB playoff accompanied by his wife and children, eventually grabbed the attention of the crowd which he thought “was great.”
Cousins expressed his take on witnessing the Minnesota team, “It was awesome. Just the energy, man. It was cool to be on the other side of it. To be the one in the stands, you kind of see it from someone else’s perspective.”
Vikings QB’s future with the Minnesota franchise
Kirk Cousins has been a prevalent trade candidate as the New York Jets search for a way to replace Aaron Rodgers, who is out for the season due to a ruptured Achilles. Based on Diana Russini’s report, the team’s decision to retain Zach Wilson might have major repercussions, implying that “people could lose jobs”.
Sources from Dianna Russini’ of The Athletics have ruled out the likelihood of a trade involving Kirk Cousins or Justin Jefferson from the Minnesota Vikings. As they prepare for Sunday’s game, both the Jets and Vikings appear to be in an unchanging predicament, but if they keep losing, things may change.
Jefferson stated, “We’re still focused in, and we still have that same goal as we had before the season. We just need to fix a few things and we’ll be back on track.”
As of now, it seems that neither Kirk nor Justin Jefferson will be facing trade anytime soon. But given the situation with the NY Jets, and their young QB Zach Wilson, it seems that Gang Green could push for a move if things do not improve for the better. Whether the Vikings will listen to those offers, is another angle of the possible trade entirely.
