Zion Williamson, the latest sensation of the NBA, has once again stirred the internet with his recent tattoo reveal. Fans are in awe of the elaborate design that the All-Star has inked on his back. Interestingly, some have even drawn a comparison to LeBron James‘ iconic “Chosen One” tattoo.
Despite the design not being new, it has only recently come to light as Williamson has fully revealed it. The former Duke star had the tattoo at the beginning of the 2022-23 NBA season. Unfortunately, Williamson’s injury struggles have been keeping him out of the game. He has played only 29 games for the Pelicans this season and hasn’t been active since Jan. 4, causing the team to drop to the 12th spot in the Western Conference.
While some fans praised the new ink, others took a jibe at it. One fan even mocked Williamson, suggesting that the tattoo could have caused yet another injury, leading to another setback for the player.
One fan compared it to LeBron James, “Reminds me of LeBron’s chosen one tat.”

Nonetheless, the design of Williamson’s new tattoo is undoubtedly impressive when compared to Lakers’ superstar’s, and it has once again put him in the spotlight.
For basketball fans, tattoos can also represent a connection to their favorite players and the game they love. LeBron James’ “Chosen One” tattoo has become a symbol of his greatness, and fans are now drawing comparisons with Zion Williamson’s latest ink reveal. As these young athletes continue to make their mark on the court and off, it’s clear that tattoos will remain an important part of their personal brand and identity.
