LeBron James injury bombshell rocks Lakers’ playoff hopes with potential season-ending news

The speculation around Lebron James’ injury is so incompatible that now it is feared the Los Angeles Lakers superstar might not return to the court even.

Lebron sustained a tendon injury in his right foot on February 26, which was aggravated by his previous ankle soreness. Finally, this time she couldn’t jump off the hurdle and went out for a month, as we presumed.

However, in light of recent speculation, the Lakers fans are worried about him coming back this season.

What are the rumors regarding Lebron James’ injury?

Prior to the Lakers’ game against the Dallas Mavericks, coach Darvin Ham indicated the return of the 38-year-old  by saying, “We anticipate him coming back at some point this season.”

moreover, a certain ground worker at Crypto.com Arena also asked the four-time NBA champion about his return, and the star himself hoped to play in the playoffs.

However, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst wasn’t very confident of the forward’s return so soon, as he said, “LeBron is not close to returning from what I am told. I know that everybody said three weeks, but I think it was very clear that three weeks is when he’s going to get an official re-evaluation.”

Though King James appeared determined to make a return at this crucial moment for the franchise, Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes also expressed his concern.

“I don’t know how realistic it is that he returns with some games left in the regular season. That is definitely the goal. LeBron James is shooting for that; I just don’t know how realistic it is right now,” Chris added.

James is having one of the best performances of his career this season, averaging 29.5 points with 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game in 47 appearances. He had to pull the wounded Lakers team through his injury.

The Lakers are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a .486 record, and they have 10 games left. They have to compete with the Timberwolves, Jazz, and Pelicans for a spot to appear in the postseason.

Can LeBron James recover from the injury in time? Only time will tell. In the meantime, stay tuned with SportsZion and share your thoughts with us.
