“I am so nervous for that” Chiefs’ TE Travis Kelce to host Saturday Night Live on March 4 following Super Bowl LVII win

Super Bowl LVII came to an end with The Kansas City Chiefs winning their second Super Bowl in four years. Undoubtedly, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, with their efforts throughout the season, were the prime reasons why the Chiefs were able to reach their feat.

It certainly was an interesting Super Bowl for Travis as he was up against his brother’s Eagles side. While the boys’ mother could not decide which team to support, she was super proud of both her sons’ performances and Travis going on to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

After the Super Bowl, Kelce was featured in many shows, interviews and podcasts reflecting his thoughts about their victory and sharing insights about the Chiefs team. Most of which was regarding his good friend and teammate, Patrick Mahomes.

However, while appearing on The Tonight Show, Travis Kelce shared that he will host Saturday Night Live on March 4!

What did Travis Kelce say on The Tonight Show?

Host Jimmy Fallon having a conversation with the star tight end asked Kelce to share his grand announcement and why he will be back in the “building” in a couple of weeks. Travis, in response to the host, said,

“Growing up, I was a huge, like (Chris) Farley, (Will) Ferrell, Fallon kind of guy growing up. Yeah, I used to watch Saturday Night Live with my mother. And it’s an absolute honor and it’s an absolute honor and a privilege to be hosting SNL on March 4.”

Later, the tight end revealed his state of panic and said, “I am so nervous for that.”

Even though Kelce is now a star, he is nervous as he will be hosting a show where all his childhood stars will be present. So, Travis might get star-struck on the show featuring country star Kelsea Ballerini as the musical guest.
