“I think I model my game after Joe Burrow a lot”: Ohio State star CJ Stroud discusses idols among NFL’s elite QBs prior draft

CJ Stroud, the star quarterback for Ohio State, has proven himself as one of the more intriguing draft prospects in 2023. The star player recently mentioned the name of Joe burrow who has influenced him throughout his career.

Does Joe Burrow rank among CJ Stroud’s top NFL quarterbacks?

As the star player was recently asked to name the top five quarterbacks in the NFL, Stroud responded right away with the names of Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, and Justin Fields. Even though he mentioned the names of these five, he said that he had a lot of other options on his list, including Lamar Jackson, making it difficult to mention just five. The Ohio star then declared his respect for every quarterback.

The quarterback then proclaimed his admiration for Josh Allen, a star quarterback for the Buffalo Bills who received the highest overall grade of any quarterback this season and was rated No. 3 by all PFF analysts.

However, is Allen his preferred athlete? Clearly, the response is no. While mentioning his favorite player, CJS mentioned the name of Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals. Being the only quarterback in NFL history with two games of at least 500 total yards and four touchdowns, the Bengals star has something explosive in him to inspire others to follow him.
