Jadon Sancho deal with Manchester faces deadlock

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys securing a spot in the top 4 of the Premier League, they have earned a straight ticket to the Champions League next season. They defeated Leicester City 2-0 at King Power Stadium on Sunday. However, the Red Devils plan on developing their attack in this transfer season and eye Solskjaer’s top pick, Jadon Sancho.

The talk regarding Sancho has been a subject of prime importance back at Old Trafford as the manager continues to pressurize the administration. Vice Chairman Ed Woodward faces a huge dilemma as the Germans are not prepared to trade with Londoner with anything less than 100 million euros. However, given the corona crunch in the UK, it is extremely difficult for the Man United administration to offer the asking price of the Germans.

Chief Negotiating officer Matt Judge and Ed Woodward are to soon get into negotiations with the German giants Dortmund to bag the winger who has been the top summer target in Solskjaer’s list.

However, no matter how much the English giants plead, Dortmund isn’t ready to let go of their star winger easily. Sancho has played a crucial part in the Dortmund offense and helped them clinch the second spot in Bundesliga, first being Bayern Munich. Sancho has scored 20 goals and helped his team with another 20 assists. You can say, he has regulated the entire offense of the team. However, Dortmund eye an opportunity to look beyond and the previous season and seriously challenge the reigning champions in the coming season.

The Londoner still has 2 years on the contract he signed with Dortmund in 2018 and even Dortmund seems to be in no hurry to kill its prospect with the player. Nonetheless, Sancho’s representatives have informed the team administration, that the player might be interested in English football and is seriously considering his chances.

The Dortmund Manchester transfer talks are in a deadlock for the time being but we desperately hope to see the Londoner in Trafford sometime soon.
