John Cena agrees U.S. title match vs Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39 following his return to WWE RAW

There was a remote possibility that John Cena might return to WrestleMania, however, now it has been confirmed that Cena will indeed return in order to rekindle his rivalry with Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39.

Cena’s recent appearance in the ring before his WrestleMania showdown versus Austin was on Monday Night Raw when he faced off against his next opponent. Both John Cena and Austin Theory were present at the TD Garden multi-purpose arena in Boston, Massachusetts, and verbally vowed to go to fight to settle their dispute.

As this week’s Raw was at Cena’s hometown, there were high expectations among the wrestling fans that the Champ would be definitely there to give a confirmation regarding his battle with Austin Theory. Gladly, the Boston boy did not disappoint the spectators at all.

Austin Theory was also present at yesterday’s event at the TD Garden to issue a challenge to Cena for a big match at WrestleMania. For a considerable amount of time now, Theory has been implying that he has a feud going on with John Cena, and Cena has been doing the same thing in return.

The fact that Theory has been caught on camera multiple times repeating Cena’s catchphrases during press conferences as well as WWE promotions and advertisements, which gave the wrestling world the impression that he would be interested in confronting ‘Mr. Money in the bank’ anytime soon.

Throughout the course of the previous two decades, “The Doctor of Thuganomics” has competed in at least one World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) match annually. Due to the fact that there is now a strong possibility that John Cena will be performing at the upcoming WrestleMania, doors are open for him to bring his run of consecutive appearances to WrestleMania to a total of 21 years.

The 39th edition of WrestleMania, which is widely recognized as the most popular pay-per-view wrestling event, is slated to take place in the SoFi stadium in Inglewood, California. The tagline “WrestleMania Goes Hollywood” will serve as the catchphrase for the two-day event that starts on April 1.
