Kim Kardashian’s kids give Lionel Messi cold shoulder despite facetiming injured Neymar during PSG game

Lionel MessiKim Kardashian and the group are apparently having fun on their ongoing soccer tour. She was recently spotted at the Parc des Princes for PSG‘s home loss to Stade Rennes, where both Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe were effectively shut down by the 5th-place team in Ligue 1.

The Parisian side was undefeated in their previous 35 home Ligue 1 fixtures. That record came crumbling down on Sunday, as PSG failed to respond after Karl Toko Ekambi and Arnaud Kalimuendo’s goals in the 45th and 48th minutes, respectively.

Before the match, Kim Kardashian, along with her half-sister Kendall Jenner, and the kids were given access to the pitchside area before kickoff. Kim then witnessed PSG’s downfall with her son, Saint West, from the grandstands.

After the match, the group was seen taking pictures with the French superstar Kylian Mbappe. Neymar Jr. also joined them over FaceTime. Saint is a huge fan of Neymar, who is currently out for the season due to an injury. Kim didn’t hesitate to post the picture of her son and friends with Mbappe on her Instagram, which has almost 350 million followers.

Kim’s group missed out on Lionel Messi

Surprisingly, there were no photos of Lionel Messi with the group. After the defeat, Messi left for the tunnel angrily, which is a possible reason why Kim Kardashian and Messi couldn’t meet. Perhaps Saint, age 7, is a huge fan of Messi’s rival Cristiano Ronaldo, which would explain why the group didn’t choose to pose for a photo with the 2022 World Cup hero.

Despite the defeat, PSG is still at the top of the Ligue 1 table with 66 points. They are 7 points clear of 2nd-place Marseille with 10 games remaining.

Kim and the group were also spotted at the Emirates Stadium recently, where they saw Arsenal get knocked out of the Europa League. Kim was then FaceTiming with Arsenal star Bukayo Saka the next day, and her son Saint and friends shared an adorable moment with the English youngster over video chat.

The internet now treats Kim’s appearances at stadiums as a running joke. She is being called a “curse” as she watched Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain lose home games back to back.

Lionel Messi, since his return from the World Cup, hasn’t really been impactful for Les Parisiens. The seven times Ballon d’Or winner will be looking to bounce back, as PSG surely wants to secure the Ligue 1 title with as many games remaining as possible.
