Knicks’ PF Julius Randle’s son almost cried watching his father flops 3-points shootout at NBA All-star weekend in Salt Lake City

Family members are the biggest supporters of every person in their life. The Knicks’ Julius Randle was below average on the ground and his son couldn’t take this performance as a well-wisher.

Fans scratched their heads when New York Knicks player Julius Randle was nominated as a substitute to the 3pt Shootout at NBA All-Star weekend in lieu of the Portland Trail Blazers Anfernee Simons, who had to pull out due to injury. While he has earned an All-Star honour, Randle isn’t exactly renowned for his long-range shooting. As expected, Randle performed poorly during the real competition, prompting a slew of responses, including a priceless video of his kid grimacing in humorous disappointment.

Knicks forward Julius Randle is participating in his second NBA All-Star Game. His debut occurred in the upcoming 2020-21 season. After signing with the Knicks, he has developed into a leg great player, but his participation in the 3pt Shootout was unexpected.

Randle has a 33.8 percent clip from beyond the line so far this year. That’s the third-best grade of his whole academic career, which only serves to further confound the choice. In the 2020-21 season, Randle shot 41.1 percent from outside the arc, which is his career best. He has shot 33.4 percent from deep during his professional career.

In general, however, Randle has been outstanding this year. He is shooting 46 percent from the field and 75.5 percent from the free throw line while averaging a career-high 24.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. The Knicks are 33-27 and are in 6th position in the Eastern Conference in large part due to Randle’s stellar performance. That’s good enough to secure an automatic berth in the postseason.
