Mari Copeny’s fundraiser received a $50,000 donation from Kyrie Irving. Copeny has been collecting money and delivering clean water to the city since she was eight years old. Through her project, which provides residents with filters to ensure safe water, she has distributed an estimated 100 million bottles of water to date.
