The Heat’s guard follows the path of his predecessors, Shaquille O’Neal and Tim Hardaway, but he is the first Heat draftee to be a Hall of Famer. He was picked fifth overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the franchise and played for them for the next 13 years.
In the meantime, the 6.4-footer won three championships, 13 NBA all-stars, one NBA finals MVP, one all-star game MVP, and one NBA scoring champion. Later, he played for the Chicago Bulls and the Cavaliers before returning to Miami to retire in 2019.
