Pep Guardiola is not happy with what he is seeing with the club with whom he has a prolonged love story after Man City was charged with breaching over 100 Financial Fair Play regulations.

The Spanish footballing genius is a perfectionist in all aspects and he could potentially well leave Man City if he was ever lied to by the directing boards.
“Why did I defend the club and the people? It’s because I work with them. When they are accused of something I ask them: ‘Tell me about that.’ They explain and I believe them,” Guardiola said last May.

“I said to them: ‘If you lie to me, the day after I am not here. I will be out and I will not be your friend anymore. I put my faith in you because I believe you 100% from day one and I defend the club because of that.”
Man City has been under investigation by the Premier League after monitoring the case for over 4 years and the defending champions are in serious trouble.

However, the club heads are optimistic about their points of interaction over the charges and are set for a trial within a few days. When asked about the whole process, Guardiola explained,
“It’s a situation in 2012 or 2013, I was still in Barcelona, most of the people running that are not here now, but of course, I would not like it. What I like is to represent a club who do things properly. It’s not about winning the Champions League and the Premier League, we want to do well for our people and our fans.”
Man City has until February 23 to respond to the PL charges, by which time leading KC Murray Rosen – head of the League’s Judicial Panel – will have confirmed the make-up of the three-member commission, which will be headed by a senior lawyer.

Rival PL clubs are pushing for a rapid “trial” as they want any punishment in place for this season rather than Man City being allowed to drag the matter out.
