Outbound PSG manager arrested for racial discrimination fiasco
The 56-year-old manager was taken into police custody amid the allegations of racial discrimination. The Argentine manager is accused of making racist and Islamophobic comments during his stint as the Nice manager in 2021-22. The police have also interviewed players and figures of Nice’s hierarchy. The allegations were bought to light when Julian Fournier revealed an alleged leaked email.
Although there have been no comments from the Argentine coach himself, his legal representatives released a statement which said “Christophe Galtier was amazed to learn of the insulting and defamatory remarks of Mr. Julien Fournier against him. Given the seriousness of the charges against him, which he disputes with the greatest firmness, Christophe Galtier immediately seized his lawyer to initiate, without delay, the necessary legal proceedings which are necessary.”

Several reports suggest PSG are going to tie the Spanish manager into a two-year contract.
With the unclear situation of Christopher Galtier, PSG is looking for an early termination of the Argentine’s contract to enable the arrival of Luis Enrique.
