Robert Kraft wants Tom Brady to return on one-day contract so he can retire as Patriot

Tom Brady officially announced his retirement on Wednesday. Following his retirement, many changes in the NFL world are on the way. With Rober Kraft’s request, Brady might not even retire as a Buccaneer!

TB12 has played 20 outstanding seasons for the New England Patriot side, a place he can happily call home. Unlike the Bucs’ teammates Patriots have immense respect for the NFL legend, and why wouldn’t they? Brady became the person he is, playing in the Patriot side, and went on to lift the Super Bowl six times wearing that blue New England outfit.

With that being said, Robert Kraft, the franchise owner, wants Tom to retire as a New England Patriots player! In an interview, Kraft shares his desire to want Brady back.

What does Robert Kraft say in the interview?

While having an interview with CNN, Kraft shared that they will do everything in their power to bring Brady back to the team and “sign off as a Patriot.” That’s not all; he also added that he would “find ways” to honor the NFL legend in the coming years.

Robert also shared a story of the young rookie Tom who had just joined the team. After entering the Patriots team, Brady told the owner, “I’m the best decision your franchise has ever made.” Brady proved himself correct by winning the Super Bowl seven times and six with the Patriots.

On the other hand, Kraft loves Brady, saying, “To us, he is, always has been, and always will be, a Patriot.” Earlier in another statement, Robert shared that he is “round” of Brady as TB12 accomplished all the achievements in the NFL. The Patriots owner also shows his gratitude for Brady saying,

“Words cannot adequately express the gratitude my family, the New England Patriots and our fans have for everything he has done. It’s been a blessing for me to watch him grow, first as a young professional on the field, but most importantly, as a person off it. He is one of the most loving, caring and passionate players I have ever known and I will always consider him a part of our family.”

Now the question remains, will Brady agree and retire as a Patriot? From the looks of it, he just might do it. Yet only time will tell.
