Serge Gnabry to leave Bayern Munich, Sadio Mane set to replace him

Bayern Munich are willing to part ways with Serge Gnabry, with Sadio Mane being lined up as a potential replacement.

Ever since joining from Arsenal, Serge Gnabry has elevated himself to new heights. The German winger has been a prolific winger for the Bavarians, and his goals have helped Bayern to multiple League titles, and even a Champions League crown in 2020.

But the ex-West Brom man’s contract with the German giants will expire in 2023. Bayern are willing to negotiate with the winger, but Gnabry reportedly wants to go away and try a new challenge. A whole host of clubs have shown an interest in signing him, with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid willing to capitalize on the situation. Bayern are not willing to let to let the winger go for me, thus they are willing to sell him for the right offer.

As a replacement, Bayern are said to be lining up Liverpool winger Sadio Mane. Coming off yet another successful season with the red, Mane is entering the final of his contract. The 30-year old will reportedly tell Liverpool about his decision to leave, although Liverpool want him to extend his contract. Bayern have been long term admirers of the Senegalese captain and this could be their opportunity to finally get him.

Liverpool are willing to let him go this summer if he does not extend. It is now a question of them finding the right deal with the Bavarians. Liverpool want £40m to m£50m for the winger, whilst Bayern have offered £25m till now. If Bayern are truly interested, they will no doubt raise their offer. Selling Gnabry will free up some funds.

If these two deals do go through, this will create a domino effect in the market, no doubt.
