‘Sex crazed’ stalker forces Trent Alexander-Arnold into hiring private security

The exceptional right-back currently playing for Liverpool, Trent Alexander-Arnold, is arguably the premier modern full-back in the league. At just 25 years old, this Englishman boasts impressive defensive statistics and has set a high standard for full backs worldwide.

Apart from being a great defender, he is also known for his amazing set-piece skills. Arguably, the best set-piece moment which got him the recognition was the quick corner that helped his team make a comeback against Barcelona in 2019. However, recently, the player has been cornered himself by a stalker and had to hire private security to dissolve the issue.

Trent Alexander-Arnold hires private security following year-long stalking

According to reports, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been dealing with persistent harassment from an unknown ‘sex-crazed’ woman with unsettling intentions. To address this situation, he has taken the step of hiring private security. This woman has allegedly been stalking the English football star for the past year, showing up uninvited at various locations such as the Liverpool training ground, his preferred dining spots, and even his residence.

As per The Sun, this woman has reportedly caused distress to Alexander-Arnold and his family by sending explicit messages, obtaining his phone number and making incessant calls, as well as sending disturbing letters and inappropriate materials to his residence in Cheshire.

Alexander-Arnold has already taken measures to protect himself and his family. These measures include changing his phone number, installing security cameras around his home, and hiring a private bodyguard for his safety. Additionally, he has been advised by security experts not to disclose his whereabouts on social media platforms to minimize the risk posed by the stalker.

Trent Alexander-Arnold set to miss Carabao Cup Final

Following his knee injury sustained during Liverpool’s 3-1 loss against Arsenal, 26-year-old defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to remain sidelined for several weeks. Liverpool assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders has confirmed that Alexander-Arnold will not be available for the upcoming Carabao Cup Final against Chelsea due to this injury setback.

On being asked by the press regarding the ongoing injury woes and about the possible return of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Klopp said, “As long as I am here, we never forced anybody back and will never do”. He also added, “The last decision is always with the player, but if you always listen to the player, they will play after two week and it’s a real problem.”

Aside from Trent-Alexander-Arnold, other Liverpool players such as Allison, Jota, Curtis who will be out from the Final showdown. Pepijn also confirmed that they will be paying extra attention towards the fitness of Mo Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Nunez as there are better chances of them featuring in the Final.
