The situation is getting more bitter for Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant as his old critic Shannon Sharpe started to blast cannonballs at the 23-year-old.
The Grizzlies star got two suspensions already, and the NBA is still investigating his notorious Instagram live with the gun incident. After issuing an apology statement, Morant tried to flee away from online backlash by deactivating his social media accounts.
However, that couldn’t save him anymore from the Shannon-cannon, as the former NFL professional finally got a chance to bash him.

Their feud went on for a while; the 54-year-old got into a severe altercation with Tee Morant, Ja Morant’s father, and since then, Sharpe has considered himself a prominent critic of the Morant family. Previously, in his show “Skip and Shannon: UNDISPUTED,” Sharpe warned Ja to be cautious about his action; however, the arrogant NBA player didn’t pay much attention to the former NFL veteran turned sports critic.
After Friday night’s controversial appearance on live, the three-time Super Bowl champion got his perfect retaliation. “Anything interesting happen while I was asleep last nite? Fill me in Twitter,” Shannon tweeted.

He didn’t stop there; the former tight end took it personally when a fan blamed him for the 23-year-old’s action. “Now it’s my fault Ja acting like this? Got it,” he wrote.

It seems the eight-time pro bowler waged an online war against the Grizzlies star and must’ve felt a winning vibe with so much happening in such a short span. In January, he had left the court during a game between the Grizzlies and Lakers due to a verbal altercation with Ja Morant’s father.

This in no way is Shannon Sharpe’s fault. Please. There were/are way too many ppl surrounding Ja that saw n knew what was happening and did nothing! To some degree the team/FO is complicit as well. We da fans hold some blame. The day he was drafted we anointed him team and city savior. We started making plans for a 🏆 parade, yet we/Ja hasn’t earned it yet? Not to mention a 20-21 yr old kid making $200m. The pressures n stress attributed to that, cmon folks. Some of us can’t handle stress n pressure and we’re 40,50 and older. So stop it.
