Titans’ $9 million QB Will Levis lands “lifetime contract” with edibles company for unorthodox food habit

It’s common for NFL players to sign endorsement deals with shoes or clothing brands. But we bet you’ve never heard about a deal between a mayonnaise company and an NFL quarterback. The $9 million quarterback of the Tennessee Titans Will Levis has signed such a deal.

While the quarterback is fighting for the backup role in the team, he landed a lifetime contract with a condiment brand. This contract between a quarterback and an edibles company is weird but the reason why Will Levis got this deal is more interesting.

Will Levis lands “lifetime contract” with Hellmann’s

Will Levis once went viral for sharing a video of him putting mayonnaise in coffee before drinking it. Now, months after that video went viral, the quarterback announced that he has signed a lifetime contract with Hellmann’s.

Hellmann’s is a mayonnaise company, and they must’ve signed Levis after people started associating him with mayo.

The brand dropped a video announcing the deal and the quarterback also posted a video on Instagram sharing this good news. He said in the video, “I’m proud to officially announce that I have signed a lifetime supply of Hellmann’s contract.”

The quarterback was signed by the Titans in the 2023 NFL Draft. The team has a backup quarterback Malik Willis. Will Levis has been competing with him throughout the preseason games for the backup role. But he was sidelined due to injury in a game against the Vikings in Week 2.

Now that he has signed a major deal with Hellmann’s we hope he also gets the backup quarterback role he’s been battling for.

Titans QB’s unconventional food habits created waves on social media

Will Levis is famous for his unorthodox food habits. Mayonnaise in coffee is not the only weird food combination he likes. Once the quarterback shared a video on TikTok in which he could be seen eating a banana without peeling it.

He also ate the brown parts of the banana and wrote in the caption, “I don’t fear the brown spots on bananas. They fear me.”

After that, he shared the famous video in which he added mayonnaise to his coffee and took a sip without cringing.

However, later he clarified that it was all a joke. He shared that he is more focused on football, and he doesn’t like mayo in his coffee.

“Nah, that’s just a stupid thing I did that I thought was funny. I don’t actually do it. I’m a one cream, one sugar type of guy.”

Seems like this joke turned out very beneficial for the quarterback. After all, the unorthodox food combination videos of Will Levis helped him land a lifetime contract with Hellmann’s.
