Alex Telles could soon make a move to the Saudi Pro League where he will rejoin ex-teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.
Al Nassr is looking to bolster their squad with many players from Europe. The Saudi Arabian club is looking to sign a left-back this summer. And for a long time, they have had their eyes on Manchester United’s Alex Telles.
They have the financial means to lure the Brazilian born player to the Saudi Pro League. But even forgetting that, they have Ronaldo, who is attracting the best talents to join the club. Telles was a former teammate of Ronaldo’s during his Manchester United stint. So, this is another reason for him to join the club.
Report: Manchester United outcast Alex Telles set to join Ronaldo’s Al Nassr
Alex Telles was immediately loaned out to Sevilla when new manager Erik Ten Haag joined Manchester United. He also found himself on the bench at the Spanish club.
Ten Haag is also said to want the player out of the club. The Dutch manager is keen for an opportunity to cash in on the Brazilian this summer. This is in order to prevent losing him for free the following year when his contract expires.
With no other European clubs interested in him, the offer from Al Nassr seemed to be his only option. And now, according to Fabrizio Romano, the left back has agreed to join the Saudi side.
