Tyson Fury marks one-year anniversary of Dillian Whyte KO with intense gym session

Tyson Fury overcame Dillian Whyte in front of a jam-packed stadium just one year ago. Fury uploaded a video yesterday demonstrating his unique celebration of the amazing win in a gym.

On Sunday, April 23, 2022, The Body Snatcher and The Gypsy King engaged in combat. In front of 94,000 spectators, the two heavyweight maestros duked it out at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The WBC and The Ring heavyweight champion Fury defeated WBC interim heavyweight champion Whyte in round 6 via technical knockout.

How did Tyson Fury mark the one-year anniversary of his victory over Dillian Whyte?

A year has passed since Fury decisively defeated Whyte on Saint George’s Day last year. To celebrate his victory over the Jamaica born boxer, Fury posted a video on social media to share his feelings.

“Happy St George’s Day. Of course, it’s an anniversary for me today. It’s a year since I knocked out Dillian Whyte at Wembley in front of 94,000 people in London.” said Fury.

There is currently no set date for Tyson to fight, as his previously planned superfight with Oleksandr Usyk has been scrapped owing to broken agreements. The greatest active heavyweight in the world didn’t let it stop him from sparring and working out in the gym, though.

“So, I’m going to celebrate today with 15 rounds of boxing in the gym. And then I’m gonna go out, get my f***ing red, white, and blue suit on and I’m going to get absolutely tanked for England and Saint George. Get up!”  Fury added.

Numerous reports about future battles between Tyson and a variety of opponents have surfaced since Usyk fight cancelation. The option against Andy Ruiz appeared to be the most plausible and likely to occur among all the alternatives.
