Watch: Florida QB Anthony Richardson impresses pro scouts with incredible arm strength throwing ball into roof at Pro day

The Florida Gators star quarterback Anthony Richardson made waves in the NFL scouting world and turned heads at his pro day, wowing scouts with his ability to throw the ball with incredible force and precision.

During high school, Richardson was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN. After high school, he spent his first year with Florida and completed as a starting QB with the record of throwing 2,549 yards with touchdowns to 8 interceptions.

Anthony Richardson spelled pro scouts with excellent arm strength

The stunning performer of the Gators Anthony Richardson showcased his mesmerizing traits and athleticism by throwing 62 passes, ranging from laser beams on out routes to rainbows downfield, and successfully completed 55 of them.

Richardson’s fellow prospects C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, and Will Levis were focused on getting the ball to all areas of the field accurately and in rhythm, however, the Gators QB was focusing on showcasing the capability of his excellent arm.

Anthony’s impressive feat was witnessed by a number of scouts from various NFL teams attending the pro day and many of them were left speechless by the display of strength.

However, the young star could not quell the pro scouts with his accuracy at the workout as some of his passes in the short and intermediate range were not satisfactory and they were largely catchable. Everyone was still impressed by him, providing a hope to be a top-five pick, albeit considering ball placement and accuracy, he was the least impressive.

“I’m a workhorse. I’m going to work to be the greatest. I’m going to continue to work. A lot of people would say I have a lot of things to clean up, so I’m definitely going to try to clean those things up. And I did hit the roof”, Richardson stated while discussing his case for the No. 1 pick.

Regardless of where the signal caller ends up in the league, his incredible arm strength and natural athleticism will probably make him a force to be reckoned with on the football field. With his speed and throwing arm, the 20-year-old is going to be high on everyone’s boards and can be a dual treat for his fellow athletes.

While it remains to be seen where Richardson will end up in the draft, there is hardly any doubt that his pro-day performance will be the talk of the town. Football fans will eagerly wait to witness the next chapter in Richardson’s football journey, as he prepares to take his talents to the highest level of the sport.
