Watch: Stephen Curry helps Warriors coach Steve Kerr come up with game plan for Klay Thompson in Warriors vs Suns NBA matchup

In a recent video, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was seen working with his coach Steve Kerr to devise a game plan for fellow teammate Klay Thompson at Chase Center.

The friendship between the Warriors’ two veteran athletes, Klay Thompson, and Stephen Curry, is nothing new.

Earlier in an episode of “Dubs Talk,” the Warriors point guard disclosed how he felt to be a teammate for a long time. Though Curry and Thompson have personalities and games, the point guard said their friendship is special as these differences mesh, and there’s seamlessness when they are together.

The Warriors’ point guard talked about what it was like to be a teammate for a very long period before in an edition of “Dubs Talk.” The All-Star Game MVP continued by noting that while Curry and Thompson have different personalities and styles of play, their connection is remarkable because their characteristics blend together and create seamlessness when they are together.

A video that was taken during the game between the Warriors and the Suns and has since gone viral on social media shows nine-time All-Star Curry and the coach of the Warriors, Steve Kerr, involved in an intense discussion during the game.

The two-time Most Valuable Player had a whiteboard in his hand and appeared to be making a strategic decision for their team’s star player, Klay Thompson.

On Twitter, NBA fans appeared to have a positive reaction to the incident, with many expressing their belief that Curry would make an excellent coach in the future after he hangs up his cleats.

In contrast to other coaches, who typically do not like to take into account the thoughts of their players, some internet users lauded the coach Steve Kerr for closely listening to Curry’s recommendations.

The strategy was successful in the end as Klay Thompson, who is considered to be the best three-point shooter of all time, scored 18 points in the first quarter, 33 points in the first half, and 38 points throughout the course of the game, which helped the Warriors secure a nail-biting victory over the Suns by a score of 123-112.

Stephen Curry managed to score 23 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. Both good buddies, Thompson and Curry, combined to go for 12 of 20 from 3-point land.
