‘We have talked’ Jake Paul requests Francis Ngannou to join his MVP company

Jake Paul may be teasing something big coming the way of the combat sports universe. Earlier there were talks about him hosting the mixed-rules super fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou.

After launching multiple initiatives involving the combat sports business and acquiring a stake at PFL, ‘The Problem Child’ could be up to something huge.

In a recent interview, the YouTuber touched on this matter,

“We have talked. The Most Valuable Promotions team, we talked to Francis, and we think we can do a great job for him. We share the same vision on a lot of things. Hopefully, Francis sees this as well but regardless, we’re always gonna be there to support him. I’ve been working on something in MMA. Francis is a great guy and I think there’s a lot of opportunities for us together.”

He also discussed his own fight against Tommy Fury, “[Training camp was] good, man, it’s really really good. I’ve reached new levels, implemented new skills into this camp, and I’m excited to put those on display against a professional boxer from a legendary bloodline and a legendary family.”

Why is Jake Paul trying to work with Francis Ngannou?

Jake had made a lot of money out of his YouTube career. Now maybe out of boredom or sensing the authoritarian dystopia Youtube is becoming, he is trying to diversify his financial portfolio. Investing and engaging in combat sports was initially mocked and ridiculed by many but the Cleveland native seems to be finding success.

Francis Ngannou also had a fallout with the UFC following negotiation failures regarding a new contract. The Cameroonian thinks he has made his statement inside the Octagon and would like to pick his future fights more intelligently so that he can make the most profit out of them.

If Paul really cares about fighters like he claims, then Ngannou could fight for him.
