Cristiano Ronaldo is a global phenomenon who has been ever present in every field. His fame and success in soccer has made him into one of the most marketable and popular figures. The Portugal and Al Nassr star may not be as proficient on the field as before, but his impact off the pitch is still evident.
Ronaldo has now even ventured into the world of music, with his first ever cameo in a music video. This comes days after rival Lionel Messi did the same in rapper Maluma’s music video.
Yatra’s new video features Cristiano Ronaldo cameo
Ronaldo made his music debut when he appeared in popular musician Sebastian Yatra’s recent music video. The song titled ‘Energía Bacana’ mainly featured Ronaldo’s famous supermodel and influencer girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
However, during the 1:53 minute mark, Georgina can be seen dancing romantically with her boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo. It was only for a few seconds, but it was the first time we saw Ronaldo in a music video.
The video was released two days ago on YouTube and has already garnered over 1.6 million views at the time of writing.
Georgina also promoted the music on her Instagram account, making Yatra a very happy man. Clearly, Ronaldo’s influence has helped the singer gain some extra fame.
Yatra also gained attention after he took part in a charity event with the likes of NBA star Jimmy Butler and Carlos Alcaraz, where he played tennis before the US Open.
Ronaldo scores again for Al Nassr
But Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t been quiet on the pitch either. The Portuguese captain has been brilliant for his new side Al Nassr since joining. He is also enjoying a great scoring streak, having scored in a 3-1 win against Al Raed yesterday.
In just 5 league games this season, he has scored 7 goals and registered 4 assists. Ronaldo also scored 6 goals to become the top scorer of the recent Arab Club Champions Cup which he won making it his first trophy with the Saudi club.
In total, Ronaldo has scored 27 goals in just 31 games since his arrival in Saudi Arabia. It is quite impressive from a 38-year-old, proving Ronaldo has still got it.
Cristiano Ronaldo will now make his AFC Champions League debut in the next match against Persepolis on Wednesday.
