Cody Rhodes and Seth “Freakin” Rollins are often touted as the top babyfaces in the company. Every week, they seem to go head-to-head to determine the actual face of Monday-Night RAW. They are two of the biggest stars in the company right now, and Seth even holds the top prize on RAW, aka the World Heavyweight Championship.
Cody sent shockwaves throughout the wrestling world when he returned to the WWE at Wrestlemania 38 to fight and ultimately defeat Seth. He was involved in a feud with Rollins, which turned into a trilogy with Cody getting all the victories so far. Seth played an important role in establishing Cody as a top wrestler in the company.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins have had a long rivalry, and Seth lost most of his momentum while uplifting Cody as a credible superstar. As per TNT Sports, Cody sat down with Ariel Helwani and opened up about having real-life heat with Seth.
He quoted, “I’m not going to fight Seth backstage; we’re not going to walk by each other and fight each other; I’m not gonna throw a water bottle at him as I walk by him.”
“But we really do not like one another, do not or did not do not why I still do not, and I don’t think there’s a specific reason other than perhaps professional jealousy. I was very jealous of him I watched The Heist of the Century. It’s one of the most amazing WrestleMania moments of all time,” he added.
Judging by these comments it looks like things haven’t been great between the two top wrestlers.

While telling Ariel about Seth, Cody admitted that he respects Rollins by saying, “I don’t think we’ve ever liked one another, wow, yeah, I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s just a lifelong, uh, dislike, well, then we don’t say hate, no hate, yeah, okay, yeah, a lot of respect, though I often tell people I think he’s one of the top three in the world, and I really, really do, is it hard to work with someone that you feel that way?”
Rhodes has stated many times that Roman Reigns is the best and occupies the top spot on his list of top wrestlers, followed by himself and Seth at the third spot. There is little doubt that whether they like each other or not, mutual respect exists.
On a recent episode of RAW, Cody came down to the ring to challenge Seth for the World Heavyweight Championship, but Brock Lesnar returned and attacked the ‘American Nightmare’ instead. With Cody’s feud with Brock supposedly coming to a conclusion at SummerSlam and Seth also finishing up his rivalry with Finn Balor, it will be interesting to see Rhodes vs Rollins IV somewhere in the future, this time with the World Heavyweight Championship in line.
