The former Chelsea and PSG manager returned to Germany after his last stint at Borussia Dortmund, but this time, he joined arch-rival Bayern Munich in the middle of the last season. Tuchel had a successful time at Stamford Bridge managing the Blues; he even led the London side to lift the Champions League in 2022.
The Bavarians are cruising in the Champions League with a 100% winning record so far this campaign, topping the Group A table with 12 points in hand and convincingly qualifying for the Round of 16. Domestically, they are facing spirited competition with Bayer Leverkusen, managed by none other than former Bayern Munich icon Xabi Alonso.
According to statistics by Gracenote Live, a renowned data and sports analytical company, Tuchel created a unique record in their recent win in Cologne. He became the second manager to oversee an entire Bundesliga game without making a single substitution. The first time this happened was with Louis van Gaal in 2010.

The champions of Germany made the trip to Cologne this weekend for the round 12 fixtures in the Bundesliga. The visitors dominated the entire game but only managed a 1-0 win, courtesy of the finish by the $126 million star English striker Harry Kane.
His 20th-minute goal stood as the difference between the two sides as Bayern claimed all three points to stay on top of the table. However, Leverkusen’s subsequent win dropped them to the second spot.
Harry Kane continues his phenomenal performance in Bayern colors with another goal against Cologne, extending his league goal tally to 18 goals in only 12 appearances, making him the current leading goal scorer in the Bundesliga. In terms of overall performance, the England international boasts impressive figures, bagging 22 goals and 7 assists in all competitions in his debut season with the German giants.
